GRAND CANYON CENTENNIAL COCKTAIL
The Bold Botanist
Joseph Christmas Ives, a U.S. soldier, botanist and explorer, was the first American to set out into the Grand Canyon, the last unexplored area of the West. His Colorado River expedition began in 1857; as the Grand Canyon National Park celebrates its centennial in 2019, we celebrate American exploration and natural splendor. This refreshing cocktail features bold notes of juniper, a plant that is found in abundance at the canyon. Tanqueray is shaken with fresh lime juice, simple syrup, egg white and mint, topped with angostura bitters, for a well-balance drink we hope Ives would love. See us at the bar to enjoy this drink throughout 2019.
$15 | $1 of each cocktail will be donated to the Grand Canyon Association
