A world-class event makes a return this winter. The Mountain Shadows Resort Scottsdale Open is making an appearance once again as one of the Valley's most action-packed tournaments with breathtaking views and competitive play. Originally designed by architect Arthur Jack Snyder in 1961, the golf course at Mountain Shadows Resort Scottsdale quickly became a favorite among Hollywood celebrities and socialites. As the new Mountain Shadows Resort Scottsdale rose from the dust, architect Forrest Richardson (who worked with Snyder) redesigned the course by combining its storied heritage with modern features. Tee off at The Short Course, with its 18 challenging par-3 holes, and take part in a recreation of history through this classic event that will surely last for years to come.
